PhantomRin Ship Images

These pictures were drawn by PhantomRin, a brilliant artist on Tumblr. She does lots of drawings for different series, such as the Cassandra Clare novels, Red Rising by Pierce Brown, The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, and more! I could tell you all I know about her, but she was one step ahead of me in posting a picture about herself, so I’ll let it describe her!

Will and Jem Song

 *****TID SPOILERS*****

I heard a song a while ago that describes the relationship between Jem and Will to a T. It is called “Circles”, written by Passenger. You may know him from “Let Her Go”, which was popular last year (You only need the light when it’s burning low, only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go). Anyway, even the title “Circles” reminds me of them, for Jem believes we live in circles. He believes we die and undergo rebirth, connected to the souls of those we loved in our past lives. Here is the song with the lyrics so you can read them as you listen, plus some Cassandra Jean art!

Virtues and Vices

Cassandra Jean has done a project combining some of Cassandra Clare’s characters and the seven virtues and vices. The seven virtues are chastity (although, in Cassandra Jean’s set, this is swapped for wisdom), temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility, and the seven vices are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride. She has paired a character with each of the virtues and vices. These are great illustrations by a very talented artist. Check them out!

TID Flower Cards

Today I’m doing a few Infernal Devices characters! We have Will Herondale, Tessa Gray, and Jem Carstairs!

Will Herondale Flower Card

Will seems rude and arrogant and shows little acts of selflessness and kindness here and there due to an immense secret he possesses. He has violet-blue eyes and black hair and is extremely attractive. He is the parabatai of Jem Carstairs.

Tessa Gray Flower Card

Tessa is a very brave and caring girl. She is also very stubborn and curious. She has brown hair, gray-blue eyes, and is very tall. She loves reading and has been an orphan since age three.

Jem Carstairs Flower Card

Jem is an extremely kind and caring person. He is calm and quiet, unlike his parabatai, Will Herondale. Jem has silver hair and silver eyes because of an illness he prefers to keep a secret. Jem is very slight due to this illness, and has a slight curve to his eyes, because of his Chinese mother.
